This movie was really interesting to me, but I understood why some people didn't like the ending (personally felt like sequel bait to me.) But I really enjoyed how the movie went about the presentation of the backrooms lore, not that I know anything about the l o r e though. I really liked the way they called back to things and paralleled things from the backrooms into the real world, like the floppydisc under the hidden tunnel door and then the letters shoved under the furniture store door. Also I'm not sure if the movie implied that the therapists mom went insane from the backrooms, or just had some sort of paranoia/ schizophrenic disorder that led to her becoming a therapist, because of the beginning with the concrete handprint warping in a weird way.
