Fiona Apple became my number one artist on spotify specifically because of this album. I listened to this album so much to fall asleep to, and I once mentioned that to my friend and they responded "The album with criminal on it? You fall asleep to that album?" and in response to that I say... hell yeah? I mean, the opening drum hits of Sleep to Dream triggers my end of day exhaustion, then going straight into Sullen Girl? I'm knocked the fuck out baby. Can't even make it to Criminal by that point. Even so, I've fallen asleep to screamo/heavy metal before, Criminal is nothing in comparison.
I remember my sister recommended Fiona Apple to me a while before I ever listened to her, that absolute dickbag was soooo fuckin smug when told that I love her now and was all like "I fucking knew you would you dumb bitch" and first off: shut up, second off: shut up.
