Through Deaf Eyes

Dir. Lawrence Hott and Diane Garey

A Documentary of the History of the Deaf/deaf community and the difference between the two for the past 200 years, featuring several interviews and shorts films by deaf people.

This documentary was very informative on the history of Deaf culture, technology, and differences of approching society. I found it interesting how different deaf people viewed being deaf in society as well as their perspectives of signing, Deaf vs. deaf people, Oral schools vs. Deaf Residential Schools, Cochler implants and hearing aids, as well as technology like TTY's.
